Mr Barnes read the following correspondence to the committee A letter frau Kevin W Titus of Saddlebrook, N.J requesting various literature on the history of the battle of Lexington. Mrs Litchfield will respond to his letter A letter firm Walter O'Connell informing the TCC of a meeting on May 9, at 7 30 P.M. in Rm. 111 of the Town Office Building to discuss the 1973 Patriots Day experience. A letter from Marguerite Cronin concerning .the 1973 parade and with suggestions for the 1975 parade. Eleanor will answer Ms Cronin's letter A letter of thanks to TCC frau 1973 White Tricon Hat recipient, Lou Zehner Two letters of resignation, one from Mrs Hall effective April 30, 1973 and one from Mrs. Reed effective May 31, 1973 A letter frau the selectmen asking for suggestions for someone to replace Mrs Hall and Mrs. Reed. Mrs. Litchfield read a letter frau the Board of Selectmen accepting our invitation to be present at the manorial services on the Green, May 6, 1973 when the contingent from the U.S.S. Lexington CVTC 16 will unveil thr flag they presented to the Town on February 17,, 1973 This is the flag that was flown on the USS Lexington during the Battle of the Coral Sea. MEMORIAL DAY Mr Brenchick will ask Paul Cronin to be the speaker of the day for the Memorial Day services on May 28, 1973 Mr. Gaughan will check with Carlsons to make sure there are wreaths ordered for the five Girl Scouts for the Marorial Day services Mrs. Litchfield will check with the Girl Scouts, clergy, National Guard and Hansom Field. Mrs. Reed will call the youth groups.
