This was a sizable group and should be replaced. Col. Harrington from Fort Devens wants to know if we .are interested in having The Fort Meyers, Virginia Colonial group of 45 men which marched in the inaugural parade recently. He suggested we share..expenses with Concord for their transportation (Fort Devens would take care of their billet) Mrs .Litchfield will write to the Colonel and say we, .ae a committee, need far more. information about expenses, etc. before we can commit ourselves. We (I) all agree they are a fine-appearing group. Bill Fitzgerald will book the Belfry Club for our reception following our afternoon parade. Mrs. Litchfield will invite the High School Drum and Bugle Corps from Plymouth, New Hampshire to march in our afternoon parade if they are interested. They were a very sharp group again in the inaugural parade. Mrs. Reed will put publicity in the Lexington Minute-Man letting people know that.we meet regularly on Thursday evenings planning appropriate celebrations for Patriots Day, and invite any organizations or clubs to meat with us. Mrs. Litchfield will contact Nail Cronin and ask hie as Chairman of the Parade Advisory Committee to ask his fellow members to join him at our next TCC meeting on February lat. The Town Celebrations Committee voted to use the proposed parade route this; year as a trial run, but to march it in reverse. This will be discussed at the February lst meeting.
