The meeting was called to order by the Vice Chairman, Dr. Bassler at 9 50 p.m. , with Iesdames Frick and Rawls present, as well as Associate Members Mesdames Nichols and Solomon. Acceptance of Camera from CLC. . At their meeting of Thursday evening, June 17, the Citizens for Lexington Conservation will present a Polaroid camera to the Commission, it was announced. Mesdames Rawls and Solomon will accept on behalf of the Commis- sion. CLC will arrange publicity. Approval of Minutes of May 10, 1971, meeting VOTED, with the fol- lowing corrections Last sentence of paragraph headed, "Applica- tions to HUD for 1971 Articles" should read, "Mr. Brown. . (etc. ) " . Last line of paragraph headed, "1970 Articles Application" should read, "-ment earlier. " Letter to Board of Selectmen on the Green and White school site proposal was sent on June 1. Commission noted two typographical errors: Fourth word line 1, page 1 , should be "feels" and the word "if" should be inserted after the word "only" on the next to last line of page 1. This letter will eventually reach the Minute Man along with these minutes, to which it will be at- tache — Options for Article 94 of March 1970. VOTED to request Board of Selectmen to exercise options for the Frissore, Soule and Wilson properties, covered in this article. In same letter, Town Manager, Town Counsel and Board of Selectmen will be re- minded of deed restriction recordation requirements of HUD and DNR, so that purchase procedures can be planned accordingly. OSA-51. Another letter has been sent to Town Manager asking for information from Town Counsel, so that this revised application covering additional court award and other expenses can be submit- ted before the July 1 , 1971 , funding cut-off date. Great Meadow Report. A joint meeting of the Arlington and Lexing- ton Great Meadow Committees will take place at Mrs. Frick' s home Thursday, June 10. Errors in CLC recent Newsletter were noted. Mrs. Rawls is not a co-owner of the Golden Hand She is merely an employee. (This misconception dates from an article which appeared in the Minute Man in March, which she will correct) . Mrs. Frick is the Secretary of the Harrington Seedling Forest Committee and William Page is the Chairman Recreation Committee liason person will be Mrs. Solomon.
