Superblocks. Mrs. Rawls had obtained additional sepia copies
of the map from which the League of Women Voters worked in
their study of open land. She cut these up and distributed +,
the Segments to those who had accepted responsibility for ,
planning in the areas. She asked each person to give her ins-
formation on building in the last five years so that the master
map could be updated. t

Land Between Route 9 and Turning Mill Road. The Planning Board t+
will be discussing this tonight. Now in the Legislature' s Ways ,r
and Means. Committee bill giving permission to the owner of the
landlocked land (in Burlington) to have access across Route 3 T
so that he can procede with development. A group of residents in tt
the Turning Mill Road area is concerned about the possibility 5i,
that access will be built to Turning Mill Road (there are vacant
lots to make this available. ) Mrs. Rawls and Mr. Brown will at- '(
tend a residents' meeting on Wednesday evening. It was pointed {
out that the land on the Burlington and Lexington sides contains u
an outstanding stand of forest. Recommended that the Commission ;1
be in touch with and work with the Burlington Conservation Cgmmis-
sion on this `,,

Parker Land Filling. Mr. McSweeney came in briefly and reported 1
that he had looked over the Parker land, and it was difficult to
ascertain Whether or not fresh filling had been done. According '
to Mr. Parker, he was merely finishing off, using fill already `}ry
there. Mr. McSweeney recommended that in the future the Com-
mission make more specific reports about amount of filling ,
done and about the area and height of fill, so that additions
or changes can be more adequately gau.ed.
Photogrammetric Survey. Mr. McSweeney reported that the entire ,Jj
Town was phdagraphed from the air on Saturday, finally, after
some days of. waiting for weather to clear. >;
Meeting Dates in May have been set for Tuesdays May 4 and 11 and 4
Monday, May. 17, with the next meeting Monday, June 7. Mrs. Greene ia4
said another room would have to be found for the May 4 meeting 411
since the Board of Health meets on the first Tuesday of each month;: s : c
