Report on Potential Reservoir Sites, a study issued by the Depart- ment of Agriculture , was displayed and given to Mr. Sussman to read He commented upon the fact that the report covered a large- ly urban area and was done by an organization to aid farmers. He wondered who requested the study to be made Action, if any, he said, should be in light of the fact that Lexington consumes but does not produce water resources. Mr Brown' s talk at the High School with Miss Huntley' s group went well. Mr. Brown or some other Commission will probably be asked to visit with the Conservation Club, of which Miss Larrey is faculty advisor. Mr Brown was shown a water testing kit, which, it is hoped, students will learn to operate . Brook Cleanup Saturday. October 31. All adult and youth groups have been or will be notified. When purchased, the Wilson, Frissore and Soule lots would also be available Installation of fences and children' s play equipment would be permissible under State and Federal limitations as long as a permanent structure is not built. Commission members stipulated that the Commission would retain control over design and loca- tion of the fencing, such as requiring that the fence be made of post and rail rather than chain link.
