Minut en of the Regular Meeting Held AuW. .24„ 1964:
Mr. Sussman called the meeting to order at 8:30 p.m. All mem-
bers were present except Mr. Ells and Mr. Richey. Mr. Ells WAS on
vacation.
Harrison Acres
Mr. Sussman reported on a meetinv he and Frank Smith had with
Mr. Harrison since the last Commission meeting. It was agreed that
Mr. Sussman would ask the qclectmen to put an article in the Town .
Warrant for the purchase of the Harrison property at 1;600 an acre
(for approx. 5 acres) .

The LOC met with the hoard o1 oclectmon at 9 p.m.
Mr. Sussman requested permission to draw up an article for the
ne;ct Town etin , enabling the Town to purchase Mx . Harrisonts prop-
erty. The Selectmen voted to recommend the purchase of the Harrison
property on the condition that Mr . Harrison would have the land sur-
veyed and that; there would be !!, tate aid.
After listening to Vir. russments presentation of the "Old Res"
swimming area project, the qeloctmen directed Mr. Hayes, Chairman of
the Recreation Cowattec, to discuss the matter with Mr. Pinneran,
Health Inspector. Tf tr. Finneran approved the project, TIP. Hayes
was to draw up a Warrant Article for the Annual Town oetirit to hire .

Mr. Cortell to investigate professionally the feasibility of turning
the "Old Res" into a swimming pond.

The Commission adjourned at 10 p.m. The next meetinfr will be
held on Thursday, rsept. 10, at 8:30 p.m.
