water pumps and Mr. Sussman asked that a note be made that when
government materials are needed it would be wise to consult Town

Great Meadow
There was a discussion as to the best way of discovering how Arling-
ton feels about the Great Meadow and what would be the most constructive
way for Lexington to work with Arlington to make sure that it is preserved.
Various ideas were proposed, and it was decided to invite Lexington
residents who have worked with Arlington on the Great Meadow in the past
to a meeting with the LCC in about three weeks, in order to get their
ideas on approaches and people who would be most helpful. Mr. ills was
asked to prepare this list,. with special attention to Mr. Shapiro's file.
The, question of a formal or informal "Committee to save the Great Meadow"
will be discussed at the next meeting of the Commission.

Mr. Sussman suggested that dWto the press of work, weekly meetings
should' continue to be held throughout the summer as long as feasible.
