M . Sussman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All
members were present.
There was a discussion of information to be presented at the.
meeting to be held with the Selectmen at 9 p.m, The Commission
adjourned to the Selectmen' s Foom for a 40-minute presentation and
question period before the Selectmen. The Commission re-opened its
own meeting in the Conference Room at
Minutes of the last meeting were approved with one correction:
on page 2, under the Old Reservoir heading, "Mr, Poster" was chanred
to "Mr. Arnold Howard."

Mr. Smith reported that the Boy Scouts had planted 500 red pine
seedlings on Vine Brook, qaturday, May 9.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Ells said that he thought it very important that a buffer
strip of at least 100 to 150 feet be established on newly-zoned
industrial. land in Lexington. He felt that this should be publicly-
owned land preserved in its noturql state. Since this matter falls
in the province of the Planning Board, MR. '1UP,F,3MAN will discuss the
matter with them.
There being no other business to be discussed this week, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.rm. The Commission will meet with
the Appropriation Comlittee Monday, May 1P, as early as in conven-
ient for both groups.
