• Welcome!
• Parent & Staff Updates - Parents asked how we are navigating the current budget
freeze. Principal Corduck explained that we are able to purchase essential supplies.
Librarian, Ms. Loof expressed frustration over the library funding and ability to
replace/purchase new books. The process is involved and not easy to navigate. A
parent remarked that the PTO purchased "wishlist" consumable items for classrooms
and the items will be distributed to teachers soon.
• Review of the upcoming release of the "Bowman Report Card" - The following
2.28.25 - 2024 School & District Accountability Summary was presented at our
meeting to provide council members with an understanding of what data is available on
the MA DESE website regarding districts and schools. Ms. Corduck previewed with
members the information available.
• Discuss Joy in Learning Plans - March 26th is the Bowman celebration. Ms. Corduck
shared that everyone is invited to attend from 9-10:30. The plan so far for the morning
includes ASM 9:15-9:45 and from 9:45-10:15 visit the American Revolution 5th Grade
Projects on display in the cafe. We are still finalizing plans.
