Home My WebLink About1946-01-17-BOH-min.pdf BCI'RD OF HEALTH MEETING January 17, 1946 A regular meeting of the Board of Health was held in the Selectmen' s Room, Town Office Building on Thursday evening, January 17, 1946 Messrs McQuillan, Russell and Lamont were present The Clerk was also present The records of the meeting held on December 21, 1945 were declared approved The report of the Board of Health for the year 1945, pre- viously approved by Dr Pyle and Mr Russell was also signed by Mr McQuillan Mr Russell suggested that a list of expenditures for the year be included in the report and it was agreed that the Clerk should prepare a brief financial summary. A report of activities was received from Mr Lamont , Health Inspector, and reviewed Upon motion of Mr McQuillan, seconded by Mr Russell, it was voted that the following licenses be approved ( Quote Licenses) Mr Lamont retired at 8 15 P M .ur Russell said that Dr Pyle had telephoned him this evening and advised that his inability to attend meetings of the Board had caused him concern Dr Pyle , feels under the circumstances, that he should not continue to act as Chairman of the Board of Health He informed Mr Russell that he would be willing to have MT Russell serve in that capacity Dr Pyle ' s suggestion was considered as a motion, seconded by Mr McQuillan, and Mr Russell was elected to serve as Chairman of the Board of Health Mr Russell said that he wanted the Board to know that he would not be in a position to devote very much time to Board of Health work for the next two months because of previous commitments The meeting adjourned at 8 25 P.M A true record, Attest Clerk, Board of Health BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING January 17, 1946 1 Board of Health Report to be signed by Mr McQuillan. 2 Report to Board by Mr Lamont , Health Inspector. 3 .
