Members present were Miriam Butts, Dick Michelson, Rely Greeley, Tony Mancinl,Lois Brown, Ray Barnes and Becky Nusedorfer, April 19 lyib - Ray said that he is worried concerning the financial needs for next year' s Patriots Day There is ''550 , for the Cole- br' ti .ns Committee thru the fiseel year There is no money for crowd control. July 4 1976 - Steve next brought up the subject of the role of TCC in July 1)76 A .paa:I concert and Community supper were dis- cussed Dick suggested tre give more thou_yht to the 75 celebr^tion - ibilitia" = .r nor,° ,rt i,_. - gymnastics show etc Arts and Culture - Miriam feels strongly that actilitles should be publiebe1 regulcrly in th , Minute-Man so that people can be kept up to date, The Nat 'l Park series was excellent but poorly attended. There was not enough publicity - the last one at the Masonic audit- orium had only 24 people in attendance. The coming series en arts, the Fireside Chats , the Historical Society program, the Photo essay which will be at the Museum at Nat 'l Heritage in February all need advance publicity Rely menti'nned that there ie some renewed interest in "They Nobly Dar'd". The Cliff Goodie photos are finished and the display will be at Cary Library - the book will be finished for December. Miriam says that there is a list of al the art and sculpture in Lexington - a catalogue being worked out by twe Lexington women Could there be any money far their work? She made a motion that LBC authorize 450 for film and processing. The motion carried Lois asked about the speeches given et the open Town Mestinglast April and whether they bad ever been reproduced. They have been beautifully printed and Lois was given copies . Booklets - Disk says that the booklets are net selling well. There are 14,000 still to be sold. They will be pushed for Christmaa and everything possible to get them distributed se that no less will be accrued, Permanent Memorial - The plane which was to take the infra red photos of the Green has not yet flown over. Rollie Robbins has not followed through out they have not given up Referral System - Lois reported that It is an excellent system but that there had been no call for this past Bummer. The church parking has been very useful For recorded messages which announce what is happening in town the numbs is Sol - 7060. If anyone hs a project or affair which should be on the recorder they should let Did[ know. There was a motion to adjourn at 8 45p.m The next meeting will be held when then. is a need.
