HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-05-04-CCC-chg.pdf CITIZENS' CLEANUP COMMITTEE Governor Dukakis has declared May as "Cleanup Month in Massachusetts." In order to further the objectives of "Cleanup Month," the Lexington Board of Selectmen has created a Citizens' Cleanup Committee. The Committee will 1 - Solicit the involvement of civic organizations and citizens in a town-wide cleanup campaign, 2 - Coordinate citizen efforts with the activities of town departments, and, 3 - Prepare a report on the 1983 campaign which may provide guidance for future cleanup efforts The Selectmen have appointed John Eddison and John McLaughlin as Co-Chairmen of the Committee. The Co-Chairmen will appoint up to five other members to represent participating civic organizations Cliff Prentiss and Wally Tonaszuck (and/or a representative of the Public Works Department) will assist the Committee. The Committee will be dissolved on or before June 30, 1983. May 4, 1983
