SELECTMEN'S MEETING $
August 23, 1954
A special meeting was held in the Selectmen' s
Room, Town Office Building, on Monday, August 23, 1954
at 5;00 P. M for the purpose of receiving b-ids for
street, water, drain and sewer work.
Chairman Reed, Messrs. Bateman, Maloney, Gay and
Mr. Burns, Superintendent of Public Works, were present.
Mr. Howard, representing Whitman & Howar, Engineers,
and eight others were present. The Acting Clerk was
also present.
The bids were opened by the Chairman and read by
Mr. Howard as follows:

The Chairman stated that we would hold the certi-
