4 It was suggested that an entire meeting be spent on
:Jt deciding on a procedure for choosing new Youth Commission
Members Nancy suggested that all members write down any ideas
that they had on choosing new members and give them to her so
a master list of ideas could be made up Hopefully this will help
us to have an organized discussion on the procedure
The next article to be discussed was the Pousette
Dart Band concert The band has consented to play a benefit
concert for the Youth Commission, but they won' t do anything for the
Sr Class The Sr Class would still like to help with the concert
their first priority is to have Pousette Dart come and play at the
high school There are 1186 available seats in the auditorium a d
if we sell tickets for $4 we would have to sell 850 seats in
order to break even Our total costs for the band would be
$3400 sound $400 - $500

The third article of' business was a discussion of the
program which 'consists of policemeq visiting the Jr High Schools
Heather said that she would continue looking at the possibilities
Nancy expoained Harold Asp had gotten ii touch wihh her
about the possibility of a splpsh party at Minute Man voc
Laura was planning a' meeting to discuss the possibility
of
making up a catalogue of laws the possibility of Lexington lawyers
representing kids in court - at letter will be drafted and sent to all
of the lawyers in Lexington temporary foster housing
A committee was set up to research the Deerfield report
consisting of Desmond Cole Abelmann and Callant
Theycoatmisston is going to get in touch with Mr TTynn a131
about printing the youth directory Laura is also going to check
with the Heat& Co
H Cole suggested that the commission write an arti&le

Cole Anderson and Stevens volunteered to write the letter
