Parental permission would be required and work toward reconciliation would begin immediately An opposing view was voiced by Paul Furdon as he felt that the youth could best confront his/her problem* by facing it rather than by running from it As a member of the police force he also pointed out that Lexington may not have a serious number of incidents of runaways to warrant such a program Mrs. Falconer suggested that the Youth Commission study the proposal Mrs Falconer also presented some questionnaires developed by her students that will be distributed and discussed at the next meeting The Youth Commission's second guest was Mrs Anne Scigliano of the Minuteman In discussion of a weekly column of youth related events and articles in the newspaper, Mrs Scigliano remarked that the paper tld welcome such an enterphise Space could be given providing the youth interest in devel- oping the column was sincere Respectfully submitted, Ginny Comstock THE NEXT MEETING OF THE COMMISSION WILL BE HELD reruies.U.ly Ara a; /7 leay 4-4/ rye A/644PY or rye Fires? a34,0-rsr 01111~ ,qr y 00 Copy Board Members Town Manager 3-21-74
