In connection with the outline of the Lexington Civilian
Defense Coiznttt*a which has been furnished you, the following
3.nfcmmation a,;ny be or interest:
Oa Wednesday morning, July 17th, at 11:30 A.M., two members
of the Lexington Civilian Defonne Committee will leave the
Inter-City Aivlines hangar at the Boston Airport, weather per-
mitting, for the purpose of making a aeu'vey of the Town, of
Lexington from the air in connection with defense worts.
The Plane will be flown by '',1ranciu B. Chalifoux, sportsman
flier, who holds a full committal rating, with Archie R. Giroux,
Chairman of the Lexington Board at Selectman and also Chairman of
the Lexica. tton Civilian Defense Committee, a former World War flier,
and 'flan a. tacker, Chairman of the Air Defense Croup, a World ,oar
veteran, as pasaengere. It la expected that a representative o
the Adsutant-CsF ,tal'a office will be present.
Further, it is understood that the Adjutant-!'energise office
will bold a msefinc of 7rep.oeuntativea fres* all town. and City
Dei"enae Committee* of Middlesex County in the Cary Memorial Building,
Lexington, on Tuesday evening, July 23rd, at 0:30 P.M.
