The sixth meeting of the Patriots' Day Committee was held
at the Town Office Building on Sunday, April 15th, with all
members of the Committee in attendance , namely, Eugene H.
Partridge , Chairman, John E. Giloreast, A. Randall Soaerberg
and James H. Russell.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Partridge
at 7 15 P.M.
The Committee discussed the matter of the program and
also details of the parade.
It was agreed that if possible, the programs should be
put out on the afternoon of April 18th by Boy Scouts and also
that the programs should be distributed on the streets on
the 19th, this also to be done by the Boy Scouts.
It was called to the attention of the Committee that a
representative of the Girl Scout Organization had planed an
order for the Scout breakfast with Edward L. Child and as
the representative had no authority to take such action,
the Secretary was instructed to write a letter to Mr4. Houghton,
Commissioner, to definitely advise her that the breakfast would
be taken care of by the Patriots' Day Committee.
The meeting aajourned at 7 50 P M.
