Votes: November meeting minutes approved unanimously by voice vote. 2. Reports/Updates: • ACROSS patches -the source of our potential patches has stopped responding. We will not follow up on this project fiirther at this time. • We don't yet have any applicants for Yifang Gong's committee seat. Keith will continue searching, and Bob and Peggy will ask among the Wake Up &Walk group. Any potential members can be invited to attend the January (or a subsequent) meeting. • Route H has been disrupted due to the work along the fire road behind Takeda. Keith has temporarily rerouted the route and posted notice on the web site. The best option for a permanent resolution is re-routing the trail to go through the woods. • Keith, Bobak, and Mike will all attend the December 19 MAGIC meeting. • Patriot's Day (April 19) will be a Saturday in 2025, and it is a big deal this year, as the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington. GCC is all registered to march in the parade -think about if you can walls with the banner. 3. Ongoing Business • Line of March ACROSS route proposal - This project is now waiting on the Historic Districts Commission for approval. Time ran out at the most recent meeting. It may or may not get approved, depending on if abutter notification is required. There is an option of administrative approval, but that is not guaranteed either. Four of five HDC commissioners appeared supportive of the plan. • Review of current route development projects: - Proposed Bowman Parkpath - This project is pending. Karen Mullins was ill and the necessary meetings have not occurred. There is some trail realignment required to avoid an existing route the goes through a wetland. Part of this trail segment is under Conservation and part is under Recreation. - Proposed Route 8 Concord Avenue - ConCom visited the site and enjoyed walking the proposed route. The consensus was that it would be nice to have a direct trail, but also include side loops, to get users to see other parts of the parcel. The Land Management Plan still needs to be finalized and approved by ConCom, and a boundary survey done of the parcel(s). There also needs to be a crosswalk at the location of the trailhead on Concord Ave. Keith will write up a report for the Judy Record Fund, explaining the work done with the fiends provided. - Proposed Rte 22 Solomon Pierce Connector (Route I) - Mike has spoken with David White, on the Arlington ConCom. He hopes we will be on their agenda in January to discuss this route. Once permission is obtained from Town of Arlington we will need to obtain permission from Lexington Conservation. Once we have all permissions and mark the route on the berm by Emerson Gardens, we will be able to complete this route quickly, since the rest is on existing routes. • Destination Sign Project - (hold til next meeting) • Brochure Reprinting Options—Bob reported that there are 75 brochures left in his stash. Discussion of when to reprint - could we wait til Bowman Park and Solomon Pierce routes are completed? What about Line of March? Should we try to reprint for Patriot's Day, or wait for Discovery Day? Reprinting the existing brochure would be very quick. Carol Kowalski holds $4000 that can be used for more brochures. It would be good to have the Lex250 logo on the 2025 brochures. • Facebook Page—Access to the existing page has been lost, so it's probably best to create a whole new page, and link it to Instagram. Daisy has agreed to work up a draft for a new page. 4. New Business • none at this time 5. Adjourned at 5:OOpm by unanimous voice vote.
