Mee?ng called to order at 7:06 PM
The minutes for November 6 were corrected and approved as
modified.
Glen needed someone to take minutes due to Gresh’s absence.
Lorain volunteered.
Next Steps:
The team discussed the “Lessons learned” for Veterans Day. They
discussed whether we should have the breakfast, ceremony and
the parade for Veterans Day on the same weekend. The breakfast
st
should be the 1 Saturday of the month and the parade should be
on Veterans Day. We discussed Patriots Day 2025 and reviewed
the budget for Lex 250. We discussed the parade route and the
staking of the units. It is going to be quite a challenge.
David to send the parade unit spreadsheet to Ashley and Suzie.
David to send out acceptance le?ers for “no brainer” parade units,
sta?ng details to follow.
Linda to submit Lex Veterans’ parade applica?on.
Pam to con?nue working on obtaining permission from the FAA
for a flyover at the beginning of the parade.
David was requested to share the parade spreadsheet with Suzie.
We have 124 units totaling $99,000.00. Dave shared informa?on
about some of the units that might make a difference in
acceptance.
Wilson’s Farms has chosen not to par?cipate in the parade due to
the day being day before Easter.
Jamie to reach out to Charlie Price asking him to be Grand
Marshal of the parade.
Sue will ask Plimoth Patuxet Museums to contact Cathy Severance
regarding their request for an informa?on table.
David to provide an update to the Lancers within 2 weeks
regarding their parade applica?on.
Discussion about handouts at the parade.

Lex 250 Invita?ons going out, no other new informa?on
Ashley and Linda to proceed with planning the Memorial Day
event using the “Songs of the Era” theme.
Glen to contact Suzie Barry regarding the process for crea?ng the
Patriots’ Day trifold.
Ques?ons came up regarding our par?cipa?on in the re-
enactment.
Ques?ons came up about the posi?on of the reviewing stand.
Parade stepping off on Maple Street.
Discussion about units being poli?cal being referred to the Select
Board. We really cannot say “no”.
Motion made to adjourn the meeting.
