No quorum. Meeting could not be called to order.
Economic Development Report Sandhya Iyer.
• People counter April: NA
• Visitor's Center Sales for April were $34,103 net. Up 10.49 %.
• Battle Green Tours Sales April 2024: 3 456 up from last year
• Liberty Ride Trolley sales April 2024: 265 up from last year
• Spring Initiatives/Plans Interviews for Visitor Center Assistant Manager and
Tourism guides underway

Pam Fowler introduced. She has a background in marketing and has been a
member of the Cary Library Foundation
Lex 250 Report
The Countdown Calendar is active. Sign up procedure on website.
The Penny Press has been ordered and will be installed in the Visitor Center.
June 13 will be Parker's Birthday
No decision on Memorial Monument. Select Board rejected the first and second
recommendation of the 250th Committee.

June 6 Collaborative meeting with Arlington, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln

Lex See Her
Some merchandise, including the descriptive book and pamphlet, have been
purchased from the Lex See Her committee for sale in the Visitor Center.
Bus Parking
Busses observed parking on both side of Green, Mass Ave and Bedford St.
Three dedicated bus slots on Meriam St adjacent to the Visitor Center.
Parking kiosk in Depot parking lot still needs to be removed. DPW said they will
take it down after the Police Station is finished.
The Town Manager and the police recommended that buses drop off passengers
at the Green and then park on Worthen Road.
Liberty Ride
Select Board has issued a RFI/RFP to extend the contract to 2025.
Buying a trolley involves questions of storage, dispatch, employees and insurance
since this would be the first town-owned passenger vehicle.
Tickets are $40/person.
The trolley is not breaking even.

Updates and Miscellaneous
Center Committee reviewed completion of Battle Green construction. Town
approved the parklet on Mass Ave in front of Avenue Deli,
Reported the new stores coming to Lexington. Craft store in Signature location;
candy store in Fancy Flea location, and Karma restaurant in Dabin location.
Lexington Historical Society still searching for new director. The Depot will be
closed October-March for renovations.
Lexington Historical Society announced that Ann Lee has been appointed new
director.

Website and email: donor button on Town website has been removed. Donor box
in Visitor Center will be removed.
