HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-09-18-BOH-min (Tri Ton Coalition Advisory Board) Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board Burlington.Lexington.Wilmington Tri-Ton Coalition Advisory Board Meeting Meeting Minutes September 18, 2024 2:00 PM Via Webex Attendees: Susan Lumenello, Director Burlington Board of Health, Joanne Belanger, Director Lexington Board of Health, Shelly Newhouse, Director Wilmington Board of Health, and Katie Capobianco, Shared Services Coordinator I. Approval of Minutes • Approval of August 28, 2024 meeting minutes - approved. IL Katy Doughty—Epi Discussion of 2022 Capacity Assessment • Katy was out this week so will be rescheduled for the next Advisory Board Meeting. III. Staff Positions • Community Outreach Worker—Juliana is attending some meetings in Wilmington and will be working on the Hoarding Manual. Katy provided the Community Meetings contacts for Juliana to reach out so she can start attending. She will be attending a Hoarding Training on February 25, 2025. Staff members are welcome to attend. Please email Katie the names of anyone interested in attending. Joanne said she would like to use Juliana as a Scribe in Lexington. • Communications Specialist—Yanissa Edwards has been hired for this position. Yanissa will work on a schedule for the staff as to who is going where and when. • Public Health Nurse—Nine resumes have been received. Susan asked Joanne and Shelly to review the resumes and Katie will schedule interviews for the top five. IV. Programs • Civic Plus has been chosen to build the Tri-Ton website. Susan asked that Joanne and Shelly give their input on how they would like it to look. The set up cost is approximately $8K with a yearly site maintenance fee of$3K. • The RFP for a Strategic Plan was sent to Joanne and Shelly to post in their respective towns websites. Joanne said she would be interested in participating in the evaluation process when the bids are received. V. Tobacco Updates • Tahycha will not be conducting inspections until November. She will be waiting until she receives her doctor's approval to start inspections again. Joanne said she can use Tahycha in the office to work on tobacco related paperwork. New Business • Anyone interested in taking the 9/25/2024 virtual training, Children Facing Their Fears during Vaccines, can email Katie for the link. • Once the Communications Specialist starts and develops a new Tri-Ton Coalition logo, Katie will order shirts and fleece jackets for the Tri-Ton staff. • Please email Katie if scribes are needed for vaccine clinics and she can coordinate with the Shared Services Staff.
