Cable Advisory Committee
Present:

The consensus is that the new process of handling complaints on a rotating
basis has gotten off to a satisfactory start.
David Green reported:
In response to Lexington's submission of items to be considered for the
license renewal, Cablevision's legal work is done and their accounting
department is calculating costs of various items. The written response should
be transmitted by 12/15/95. A meeting date should be set.
A survey of the COA will take place on 12/9 to define the work needed to
extend the I-trunk to those offices.
Rate cards will be mailed with the December bills.
The customer service phone queue has a wait time of 25 seconds most of
the time.
t�R David has not been receiving committee mailings such as minutes and
agendas.
Comments addressed to David Green:
Martha Stanton stated that replacement monitors were due in January
Parade Magazine had a piece about a Disney Channel promotion. David
explained that Cablevision elects not to take part in that type of promotion.
General comments to committee members:
Chairs of the various citizen committees in town government should be
reminded that they should notify Cablevision of scheduled events needing
cable cast coverage.
As part of the ascertainment process, members should continue to
interview the user groups assigned to them.
The next meeting of the Bedford Cable Committee will be January 25 at
7.30. The Town ordinance question is on their agenda.
The next meeting of this committee will be January 12 at 5.30.
