MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE, TUL / e8, 1988
The meeting waE called to order Ly the chairman, Frank
Digiammarinc, at u 40 pm, Present were Julian Bussgang, Stella
{ Liu, William `pencer , Martha Etanton, Leo McSweeney, and John

Chandler and Pett Grunwald -f Adam' .Rus `sll
John Ward placed on file a set of undated maps of design
plans for the Lexingt /n Cable system" These maps were presented
to the earlier Cable Committee by Adam Russell during the time
when the Town was asking cable companies for RFPS Request for
proposals/
The Chairman announced the resignation of Ken Arnold for
personal reason%
Stella Liu suggested that a permanent .eat for the Library
dh»uld be established on this Committee

Julian Bvssgang gave a report on rate free e prn^ isions and
the contractual statuE of the completion of cable installtion in
the Town of Le ingtnn based on the requirement listed in The
FINAL CATV LICENSE dated August 31 1981 and other related
documents

John Ward stated the apprvyal cf rate increases in 1982
implied that the Cable caittes at that time agreed the
installation of cable wa' completed Other members of the Cable
Committee di .agreed with this assessment

Martha Stanton raised the issue of financing the cart of
using additional channels on the Instituti /nal trunk Donna
Garxfano replied Cable ision would provide the additional cable
casting ability AT COST
William Spencer reported that a great deal of damage was
done on the cable wiring during the rennooation cf Lexington High
School Richard Chandler displayed two sets of damaged outlets
and photographs of damaged wiringc from Lexingt 'n High School
Lec McSweeney suggested alerting the Building Committee Everyone
agrees the Building contractor should pay for the cost of
repairing all the damages in the cable system. Frank suggested
names of persona in Schn . l admini 'tration and in Tnwn that Bill
should contact

minute request for cable coverage of the meeting did not pi 'e

Richard Chandler made fcllowing statements
1 The License granted to Adam Russell will bs the nnly

2. ContinuouF negotiations between Adam Russell and Cable
Committee in the past few /ears and installation of over 448
outlets for SCh orls 'n the institutional trunk of the cable
sy -tern i,/dicats Adam Russell' s willingness to cooperate for the
success ..f cable installation in Le• ington"
