Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday, December 14,^, 2017
Members Present: Will Thomas, Jack Mitchell, Bess Lawrence, Lucas DiCerbo, Anthony
Marbardy, Charles Marbardy,Nicholas Newton-Chen, Millie Landis, Courtney Campbell, Mehr
Khurana, Ishaan Khurana, Annika Richter, Rebecca Wilkinson, Katie Devine, Hadar Boker,
Emma Donigan, Michael Swift, Patrick Kridarahkorn, Myles Cutler, Jimmy Lane, Cate Swan,
Zoe Toulmin, Maria Schapfel, Karen Duperey, Kristina Hankins, Joe Hankins, James Athens,
Shannon De Guglielmo, and Deb Hankins.
Members Absent: Sean Maloney, Meghan Buschim, Rachel Harvey, Avery Gehring, Venuri
DeSilva, Ganga Nair,Nachiyappan Solaiyappan, Courtney Walsh, Katherine Gehring, Erin
Cesmeli, and Annie Reilly.
1. The minutes from November were read and approved.
2. We discussed the Turkey Drive which overall went well, with no major delivery
problems.
3. We then discussion the holiday fundraising for Lexington kids in need. In which we
raised over $2,700.
4. Karen Duprey then gave an overview of our January event- Cradles to Crayons. It will
be on January 27' @ 10:00 am for 2 hours. A handout with more information such as
donations and transportation was distributed. Please check your schedules and come to
the next meeting knowing whether or not you will be able to attend.
5. We then discussed our options for the parade and concluded that we would be using a
golf cart instead of building a float.
6. Next, we discussed new ideas for fundraising for the Food Pantry and Lexington Kids In
Need. New ideas included a carwash and a non-perishable food drive. Please continue to
brainstorm ideas and bring them to following meetings.
7. Finally, we distributed the tee shirts. For those of you who have not paid, please bring
$15 to our next meeting, checks should be made payable to LYC.
The next meeting will be Thursday, January 11th 7:00 pm at the Community Center
