Open Session Minutes
January 05, 2017
A Meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on January 05, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Captain
William Parker Meeting Room of the Town Hall Office Building.
In attendance: Gregory Johnson, Chairman, Edmund C. Grant, Member, Casimir Groblewski,
Member, Robert F. Lent, Director of Assessing, Michael Golden, Assistant Assessor/Residential
Field Manager and Sandra Pentedemos, Administrative Assessor as Secretary.
The Chairman, Gregory Johnson called the Meeting to order at 10:35 a.m.
Open Session
Public Comment Time: There were no attendees.
There were no discussions of Financial Issues including Overlay Fund.
Chairman Johnson made a motion that the Board of Assessors go into Executive Session under
Purpose 3 of the Open Meeting Law in order to deliberate Statutory Exemption Application since
deliberation in Open Session would be detrimental.
The Board voted, 3-0 in favor to go into Executive Session at 10:50 a.m.
Executive Session occurred here: details may be viewed in separate Executive Session folder.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Assessors adjourned the Executive Session
at 12:15 p.m. and returned to Open Session of the Meeting.
Open Session
The Board unanimously voted 3-0 in favor to approve of the Fiscal Year 2017 Chapter 59,
Section 5 various Clauses of Statutory Exemption applications. (See list in Executive folder).
There was no review or discussion of previous held Meeting Minutes.
The Board of Assessors next Meeting will be held on January 23, 2017 at 8:45 a.m.
There being no other business a motion was duly made and seconded at 12:20 p.m. to adjourn
the Meeting.
