SELECTMEN'S MEETING
July 11, 1941
Messrs. Giroux, Potter, and Sarano met in the Select-
men's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, Mass. at 11:15
A. M., after having been notified by the Clerk by telephone
of a Special Meeting to be held this morning. These three
constituted a majority of the Board of Selectmen.
Mr. Giroux reported that he and Mr, S. R. Wrightington,
the Town Counsel, acting under the instruction of the Board
of Selectmen, as recorded in the special record of the meet-
ing held on July 7th, met with the District Attorney of
Middlesex County this morning. The District Attorney ordered
Mr. Giroux, as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, to produce
the records of the Water Department of Lexington covering all
farmers engaged in the production of garden produce. Mr.
Giroux asked for the authority of the Selectmen to take these
records to the District Attorney's office. Mr. Potter moved
that Mr. Giroux be given this authority. Mr. Sarano seconded
the motion, and it was so voted.
Mr. Paxton was summonsed and ordered to assemble the
records for Mr. Giroux.
The meeting adjourned at 11:45 A. M.

The record of this special meeting of July 11th was
read on July 14th to the full Board by the Chairman. Upon
motion of Mr. Rowse, seconded by Mr. Locke, it was voted
that the action taken at this special meeting be approved.
