July 15, 1940.
A special meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held
in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 5:15 P.M.
All of the Selectmen were present.
The meeting was called for the signing of the Warrant
on the referendum presented to the Selectmen on July 8th
on the vote of the Town Meeting held on July lst refusing
to change the Zoning Law with respect to property on Vine
Brook Road owned by Eugene J. Viano. The Board signed
the Warrant calling for an election. to be held on July 29th,
1940, the polls to be open from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Letter was received from Mr. Garrity stating that he
had been requested to post for removal tree #4 on Clarke
Street. He saw no objection to this. It was'voted to
authorize Mr. Garrity to post the tree for removal.
Mr. R.Z. Ryder presented a partial release of sewer
' lien to be substituted for the one signed by the Board on
April 15th. The only change was in the date of the plan
and the date of the execution of the release. The Board
voted to sign the new release.
The meeting adjourned at 5:30 P.M.
