Mr. Sarano, Town Clerk Carroll, and the Clerk were present. Mr. Carroll announced that the following bids had been received on a loan of $50,000, in accordance with the provisions of Statute 1939, Chapters 72 and 4521;, Leamington Trust Co. 100.909 1 Second National Bank 101.383 R. L. Day Co. 100.03 1% Estabrook & Co. 100.288. 1%i First National Bank 100.412 1% Tyler & Co. 100.439 1% L. F. Rothschild 100.3659 1% Lee Higginson Qo. 100.477 1% Lyon & Shafton 100.283 Lee, Higginson Co. being the high bidder, Mr. Sarano said he approved accepting their bid. The Clerk telephoned to Messrs. Giroux, Locke, and Potter, and they all approved accepting the bid of Lee, Higginson Co. ' Request was received from the Town Engineer that the Selectmen order the closing of Oak Street from bass. Ave. to Ellis Street during the eonstructio# of the sewer in that section of the street. The Clerk telephoned the members, who authorized her to order the street closed.
