Oct. 21, 1938. '
A special meeting of the Selectmen was held in the
Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, at 8;30 A. M.
Chairman Giroux, Messrs. Ross, Potter, Raymond and P.W.A.
Resident Engineer Inspector Street were present.
Mr. Raymond stated that approval of the resolution which
was drawn up on the 27th of September and submitted to the
Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works was received
yesterday, relative to the contract "A" of the Vine Brook
Drain and Sewer. Mr. Ross moved that the resolution be adopted
as follows:
"RESOLVED: That subject to the approval of the Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works and the fulfillment
of legal requirements, that contraet "A" of the Vine Brook
Drain and Server Project, Docket No Massa 1370-F be awarded
to the low bidder, DiMarco and Ciccone, Inc. of White Plains,
New York at their bid price of One Hundred and Twenty-two
thousand, Three wed and Ninety-seven Dollars and Fifty
Cents ($122,397.50)". Mr. Potter seconddd the motion and
it was so voted.
Mr. Raymond was authorized to secure the signed contracts
from DiMarco and Ciccone and was requested to present them
to the Board at the regular meeting next Tuesday for their
siLrilatures.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 A.M.
