October 8, 1935.
A special meeting of the Board of Selectmen was
held in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office•Building, at
5 PLM. Messrs. Ferguson, Gilcreast and Potter were
present. The Clerk was also present:
Letter was received from the Town Clerk advising
the Board of the necessity of drawing a juror to serve
on criminal business at Superior Court, Cambridge, Mass.,
the first session on the 21st day of October, 1935.
Mr. Frank R. Hadley, proofreader, of 502 Mass. Ave.
was the juror drawn.
A contract in duplicate for the improvement of
Lincoln Street under Chapter 90 was received from the
County Commissioners, and the Board signed.,bbth copies
of the contract.
The Board received an application for work to be
done with Government Funds under State supervision for
the expenditure of $5541.00, which is the amount of
gLaney allotted to Lexington.
The Board signed the application for the expendituft
of the money on drainage in and reconstruction of about
1000 feet of highway in Waltham Street, from'Allen Street
in a southerly direction.
The meeting adjourned at 5:10 P.M.
