Frick, at 8 05 p m, , with Commission members Dr. Friedman, hr. ,Larson, a•.r. i:azerall (Ox-officio) , eesdames Rewls and Solomon (Asseciate) 9 and hr. Williams present iir. Smith arrived later. Also present were Administraatiae Assistant David Hughes, League of Women Voters observer Dorothy tsarringt©n and i,_iriam Butts of the Lexington bi- centennial Committee (for the first topic of discussion only) . Bicentennial events, krs Butts asked if the Commission could schedule 2 or 5 walks of conservation lands and provide a map of open lend, possibly for inclusion in a printed i:icentennial events program. _Commission pointed out the historic importance of Cannon Rock, proposed to be purchased with assistance of a bicentennial matching grant , and the Grey Nuns land fronting .•assachusetts Avenue, a welleused parade,.viewing site.
