Center Signage for Bike and Skate Karen Bechtel presented an excellent solution by
designing an attractive oval, green sign with white lettering promoting safety first in the
center warning against jaywalking, biking and skating. The proposal would eliminate the
current jaywalking signs posted in the center Safety First, signs in small form, arc
proposed on the four existing hike racks and on-poles close to: Crafty Yankee, Lmery
Park, Work Bench, Aesops Bagels. BankBoston, two near the hikepath, one at the end of
Edison Way and one at Meriam St

current building by IS (feet toward Lincoln St. thereby bringing the building into current
standard size. An upgrade or the foyer and changing rooms is also planned as well as
unifying the exterior of the building in brick. Outside an access ramp will be added,
parking will be redefined by adding one more space as well as some new landscaping to
accommodate the new addition and parking. We suggested that they look at the lighting

Garden Club showed wooden signs that are to be 21 x 7' single sided, gray with routed
green letters and Ig' off the ground placed in the traffic islands. Approved with the
suggestion that the signs be maintained to look fresh.

Marrett Square: Belmont Savings is installing an ATM here on the left side of the tower
entrance on the Antoine's Cleaners building, using a blue awing. We thought matching
the blue of the Antoine s Cleaners sign would help in visual continuity.
