Have not come to a final plan on that. 5' island in middle of lot - red maples. 2. Insufficient buffer for residential neighborhood. 25' required. NW L NT, i9?q corner has only 8' maximum from paving to wetlands. Traffic circulation around and out again on Lowell St. A control lane to Pearl St. for fire and some exiting. Parking lot will be remade to pitch it south away from the wetlands. Question was asked if it is a new surface, does it have to come up to code ? Buffer toward Bartlett. "Downstream Defender" to gather and separate hazardous materials from water Possible planting on abutter's lot. Height of present building is 25' Proposed height over stage 30' - 35' DAC asked the applicants to investigate pushing the building 5' further from present parking to increase distance from paving to wetlands. Center Police Booth: Paul Jenkins brought in revised plan. DAC consensus: Move back from street 1' Octagon shape. Exposed base to be granite, inside concrete. All window sills to connect. Windows to be double hung and 4' high x 17" wide. Make rail a little stronger. Lights 6 over 4. It was suggested to "beef up" apron. Lead-coated copper roof. Discussion of moving planter back. Line it up with drive within shopping center. Present arrangement confusing and dangerous. 2.Increase transitional planting toward Lowell St. neighbor.3 Simplify facade - too many horizontal lines. 3.Eliminate joints at windows. Brookline Infant Toddler Center: There are to be 50 children from 3 months to kindergarten and 10 staff DAC thought common driveway by easement or lease. would not be offensive if O.K. by ZBA. The parking spot by dumpster makes sense. Drainage should be cared for. There will be retaining wall of concrete. Building very massive.
