between the parking and the woods.
2. IDEO• John wrote letter highly recommending their efforts to the 1'
Board of Appeals. We would like to see a color elevation of the sign.
3 Sheraton Inn on Marrett Road: Flatlys are going on as they
have planned. It was suggested that Mr McSwenney, Chairman of
the Selectman, speak with them.
4 Fr e s e n i u s. Going for sign allowed by the By-Law on the first
floor of their building.
5 Harrington Road: At the Selectman's meeting John, Steve and
Mort were directed to come up with alternatives. Most liked
alterative is the neck down on Harrington Rd. and Hancock. This
would slow traffic and make the drivers more aware of the
intersection John is going to talk with Cambridge about this or other
possibilities and Betsy is going to check the data base.
6. Depot Square: Carl Johnson's firm was awarded the project.
Ginna Johnson has met with all the representatives and has discussed
the three schemes.
7 Newspaper Vending Machines. Jack Nolan has written a draft
to the Boston Globe requesting the numbers and locations of their
machines. It was suggested that the request come from the Town
and that it be written on Town stationary to hasten a reply
8. Mobil Station on Marret Rd. and Waltham St The new
owner would like to plant something between the trees that are now
there. He may bring his proposal to our next meeting.
Next Meeting April 8, 1997
