Update on September minutes, recorder Tom Coffman says that the
minutes were lost when the computer crashed.

Maguire Road and Hartwell Avenue was discussed and applauded by

was good. Bruce noticed a clutter of signs in this area.

on Woburn St. was postponed to next meeting.
3. Depot Square update includes T.A.C. meeting that Steve and Tom
attended with George Woodbury June 1st is the deadline to submit
25% of the design for the Square with the full design due in
September Friends have not presented a plan. Steve will talk with
Rick White and George Woodbury about any new ideas from the
Friends. The L.C.C. endorsed Scheme B and sent a letter to the
Selectmen notifying them of their vote.
4 Seasons Four design for a "Classic English Garden" on Mass. Ave.
along the stone wall was responded to by John noting that a clear
plan to scale with an elevation would be needed for the DAC to have
a discussion.
5 Sign Guide are still out for written approval Steve and John will
call to move this along.
6. Newspaper Vending Machines such as the ones in Carmel,
Calif. were located by Jack Nolan. The company is Caspar Wire
Works in Shiner, Texas. A triple unit is $800 with 6-9 units for
newspapers. A favorable review was given.
7 HDC sign review on the Lindt projecting sign missed passing
through the DAC review Discussion followed on how to participate
more at the same time not tie up merchants in a long line of
committee review Betty suggested a smooth flow form one
committee to another by employing someone to assist the applicant
with the process.
8. Notice from Betsy that the Lexington Field and Garden Club is
moving along on improving the Marrett Rd. and Waltham St.
intersection by meeting with state officials calling their attention to
the missing curbs and unused air raid warning post to be removed
and replaced with a street sign. This area will be up for revamping
in 10 years at that time replacement of traffic lights would be
considered
