Signs: Location and design of historic and directional signs were presented by Jan Spealman and Lou Siderlis. Intent is to inform tourists in a consistent manner coordinating with Concord and Minuteman Park. DAC recommends: looking at adding international symbols where possible; use brackets on back of signs for hanging in lieu of bolt thru face; center justify message. 5 Lexington Ridge Signage: Jules Epstein presented design changes as response to our last review DAC remains generally critical of design and lack of information presented. The following are comments recorded: it is difficult to make decisions based on lack of context information; no sense of scale;the size and number of signs remain major issues; actual design appears to be moving in right direction;the project must fit in as a "neighborhood" in Lexington; advertizing is inappropriate; the application to ZBA does not accurately reflect what has been presented(lights,etc.). 6. Emery Park: Steve, Don and Bob have met with Rick White. Steve is developing a list of contacts i.e. committees, etc. who may have interest in a / ) general meeting.
