Budgets—Account balances reviewed,with estimated$50,000 in account.
a. A brief overview was given on Incorporation Weekend anticipated expenses. Costs for shipping
the Bentley Boyd book were also discussed.
b. Old Time Baseball costs reviewed and upon motion and vote,$10,000 was appropriated for the
baseball event. Need for event Treasurer was confirmed. Sue Rockwell with confer with event
Chairperson Colleen Smith. Additional discussion on Baseball event planning ensued.
c. Gandolfi piece commissioned by Lexington Symphony—cost for the piece is covered by a group
of community supporters and a gift from the Symphony to the Cary Memorial Library

Commemorative Flags—
A number of commemorative flags have been issued,as part of fundraising or individual purchase. List of
additional flag needs for upcoming celebrations to be compiled.
Programs&Events—
o Golden Tricon Scavenger hunt starts this Sunday,with winner to march in the Patriots Day Parade.
o Concert tickets are available
o June 2nd Volunteer thank-you event set
o Clock Dedication&Time Capsule—Saturday,4:00 p.m. @ Depot Square/Emery Park
o Ceremony to include commissioning&capsule to be sealed following the clock/capsule events
Other Business:
o Nominations for Lexington 300th Committee-Polly Menlo,Geetha Padaki&
Melanie Lin. Sue Rockwell will pursue with Selectmen
o LexMedia received recognition for broadcasting of the 'pre-show' of the Lexington300th
Opening Ceremonies!
