Fashion Revue o Countdown to October 27 with over 150 performers o Tickets about 2/3 full o Items to be sold @ Revue,with auction beforehand o Refreshments Old fashioned candy @ intermission,Izzy's donation of 1,000 soda bottles o Food for performers covered by event costs 3 Musket Ball—Denise Rickets updated committee— a. Harpsicordist b. Ruth Monsell,gigmasters c. Paul Clancy,Candy Castle—chocolate coins,etc. 4 Incorporation Weekend—coming along a. Need to reach out to those not yet participating 5. Mock Town Meeting—Steigerwald to send program for review 6 Patriots'Day Parade—Sue Rockwell preparing Lexington 300th float application;Lexington Youth Commission to construct with the oversight of Beverly Kelley Will include walkers with the float. Kim Coburn inquired about if each school is to enter their own float. 7 Old Time Baseball—in the works o Musket Ball o Ball to be rescheduled to Saturday,April 6,2013,refunds to be generated to early purchasers; o Ticket price adjustment,engagement of community partners sought,likely not a fundraiser. o Many potential attendees found original ticket price to be too costly o Convene small focus group of community groups to brainstorm Musket Ball,proceed with event • VOTE: Continue on April 6'"with new approach for event—UNANIMOUS • Engage&commit to the band,authorize subcommittee to reform event o Old Time Baseball—Colleen Smith to coordinate—May 26,2013 • Cambridge Savings Bank donated$5,000 for the game! • Plans reviewed o Incorporation Weekend-$5 button for earlybird/$10 others • 2-day events o Mock Town Meeting for 8th graders o Community Events for Approval o Walk'n Mass—Sunday,April 14111—Committee deemed insufficient information,no vote taken o Citizens Bank Exhibit—UNANIMOUS SUPPORT for bank exhibit on the history of Lexington Savings Bank o Shoppers Night—November 30th—table at Emery Park—ADOPTED Next Meeting—November 28th—7:00 p.m. December 1 1th—12:30 p.m. Musket Ball Focus Group November 28th?
