Trust Company, and Thompson, Treasurer of the 14edford Trust Company
came before the Board to discuss the matter of a house owned by
that company on Outlook Drive, Lexington.
Because of default in the payment of the mortgage by a Mr.
Bernard to the Medford Trust Company, they -^were obliged to foreclose
and it was found that the houae is nearer the lot line than the
Building Laws allow, they, therefore, wished. to find out what could
be done about the matter.
If it w9s possible to trade land with the owner of the next
lot, namely, a Mr. Kelley, the proper distance could be had from
the lot line. However, they find that Mr. Kelley will not trade
land, but that he will sell the house on the lot, which the company
is not desirous of buying.
It was finally decided. to let the matter lay for a while,as
' it may be possible th^t Mr. 1ei7,ez will not meet his payments on
his mortgage, and the "'stertown_Ban'- will forclose. This may give
tre Medfor Trust Company an opportunity to settle the matter.
