At a special meeting off' the Board of Selectmen Pair. Custance
and_ i"lr. Burnham were present. The Clerk pro -tem and, the
Assistant Town ngineer were also present. The meeting w. s held '
at the Se]_ectnen."s Roo"r, Town Officd. Building at 8:45 P.M.
At 8:45 P.11J. hearing was declared oren upon intention of
the Board to lay out Summit Road and Pinewood. Street. Mrs.
Catherine E. Allcock of Follen Road. apreared to obdect to the
layout of Pinewood Street, as she felt thgt her lot #41
at the corner of Follen Road and Pinewood Street would not be
benefited by the layout.
She was informed that the assessment would have to be
levied and. a protest mad.e for abatement of betterment assewsment
Of this lot for all but eight feet on Pinewood Street.
Her other lot #42 she felt would receive benefit from the
layout, and she was agreeable to the assessment on this lot.
No other persons appeare,a for or al3ainst the layout of
either street, and the hearing��w��a,,s declared closed s.t 9:05 P,P.^.
