Russell anneared at the request of the Board that the Committee on Veterans 7-,"e-:7orial meet the Board of Selectmen at 8:15 P. r1. No other person ap-eared to object so no business was taken up. Hearing vias declared oven upon the application of the Fairways Construction Company for permission to install a gasoline tank on their premises. No persons appeared to object, and it was voted to grant them permission to install a gasoline tank of 300 gallons on the Golf Club premises on Cedar Ltreet. T,,e State Ai' pay roll in the amount of 4,126.00 was signed. The clerk reported that the order for the Upland Head sewer has been filed nt East Cambridge. No action was taken, however, by the Boar(9 in regard to the installati-r of the sewer in Upland. Road., inasmuch as they desire to awa5_t the presentation of the plan by the Sunt. of Public "forks. Avenue, asking that their business be increased to conform with Section 16 of the Zoning Law. Release was also received from them of a thirty (30) foot strip of land for the entire length of their property for building line purposes. The Board decided to give a hearing on this matter in accordance with Seet�on 16 of the Zorin� Law. A street sign survey made by the Town Engineer of the signs from Woburn Street to Clarke Street i,has presented. No action was taken upon the same. A7e., a stop sign has been placed and at Bow :'treet the same has been done. At these two placed it seemed better to place metal signs as the surface is not so good to hold the large letters. At Bedford St., a cross -road warning sior has been nlaced about 300 ft. north of Elm Aver;.e.
