If the Red Line should pass through Lexington, it Would be underground through the Center end terminate at the sanitary landfill area, considered the only aavailabl© station area, whose ridership and accessibility may be increased by the addition of a serwiaas road parallel to 128. Cost of carrying the rapid transportation line underground would be about double of aurfaoe construction.
