The Board again considered the application of Ida H. V. Capper for a filling station at the corner of Middle and Waltham Streets, and voted not to grant permission for the erection of same. Letter was received from George W. Taylor in which he enclosed copy of records of 140th Anniversary of the Battle of Lexington so that a record of the same could be made on the records of the town. Reply was made to the letter of the Board of Trade in regard to the injustice to Gustav Bunzel having to pay $200 for his slaughter license while Amos Holman paid $100. The Board felt that Mr. Bunzel had been satisfied with the charge made as he made no indication otherwise and as the charge was already made for the year, it was decided to have a schedule, which the Supt. of Public Works could work out before April $0th when the licenses expire.
