A meeting of the Bo::rd of Selectmen was held in the
Selectmen's Room, Town tall, Le lr. ton, on '2uesday, January 27,
19259 at e F. L.. The following. members of the Bowrd were
present: uiercrs. Burnham, sue+„ante, rIilPs and hutchinron.
Lr. Lioulton was absent. ihE erupt, of Fublic iiorkr and
Torn Clerk'were also present.
hir.•Willard C. hill was instructed to prepare insurance
on the plan suggerted by him as beim more economical.
Yr. Cheney of the "merican Gar ^ccumulator Company submitted
plans for placing traffic ei.?nals or beacons at certain
danw,erous street corners.
The matter was taken under advivement and ":r. Cheney -7-ae
informed that i__r. :;camman r,ould advise him of result of the con-
ference of the Board in a few days.
In the matter of water extension in Old County Road.
iir. Ccamman war instructed to place an article in the 'Warrant
for the annual tOlKn meeting, requesting action on such extension
of water maine in said road as he thinks rEquired.
Voted that the Supt. of Public 6orkr proceed to install
such electric liFhtr in Old ,ounty Road ar he sees fit. '
Voted that %r. Scamman enter into Mpotiationr with
ter. Uheney of the Gas accumulator Company to install the traffic
beacons as proposed by him for trial and observatlor only and
without ary oblir-ation on the part of the Town.
