A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen :as held in
the Selectmen's Room, Town Hall, Lexington, on Tuesday. December 9,
1924. I -A S F. Li. The following members of the Board were prevent:
t7eeers. Burnham, �uvtance, kiles, Hutchinson and Boulton. The Town

The Board voted to grant the use of the Town Hall to the
s=igh School for practice in Basket :fall five clays eacdh week begin -

Frederick L. Emery came before the Board and prevent -d the
following vote:
Voted, that the general scheme for the development of the
driver, walk and brooks, in the Park property south of Vine Brook,
submitted by fir. F. L. Emery, Frerident of the Lexington Field
and Garden Club, be ap--roved and raid Emery ie authorized to comer
with adioininp private property oviners with.a view to vAcuring their
cooperation and it also authorized to confer with adjoining private
property owners with a view to securing their cooperation and is
also authorized to confer informally with iWir. A. �. Churtleff, land-
scape architect relative thereto.

The Board was agreeable to the vote presented by Mr. Emery
and voted, to accept same unanimously.

Llfip with copy of Emergency Hourinp Laws were read by the Chairman,
and it tar the unanimous sentiment of the -board that there is no
further necessity for there laws in this Town.
On the suggestion of the Town Hccountant, the Board voted
to authorize the down Treasurer to borrow $75,000 in anticipation
of revenue, on note or notes of the town dated Dec. 18, 1924 and
payable June 18, 1921,
The Board voted to take action by petitioning the County
Commissioners concerning the laying out and establishing the
boundaries of certain streets as designated in letter fro -,the
Planning Board. The streets are namely, Sprinw, :Biddle, Shade
and uuestor. Streets.
Ir. Custance recom-ended that Bedford Street from itr prevent
-terminus ae a State Road to 'd+arren Davis' farm be made a State Road.

Action on the acceptance of the lay -out of the McIntosh
