rx regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in
the Selectmen'e noom, sown hall, Lexington, on '2uerday, Sept. 9,
1924 at 8 P. The following members of the Board were prevent;
namely Ueerre. Burnham, Oufltance, hutchinson and Miles. The

bearing wan declared open upon application of Florence A.
Gilcreart of 55 valtham St. for permission to erect a garage
on her premises.
No person appeared to object and it was therefore voted
to grant the licence.
Letter -.:an received from harry -�- . Eastman of Winter St.
it regard to putting �vinter Street in good condition and macadarliz-

Letter tae turned over to the oupt. of Public 'Worke for
investigation,
Letter was received from Oscar F. Lowe of Crescent.Hill
revenue, East Lexington, asking that the street be accepted.
wr. Sca=rian war requested to look into the matter and
report his findings.
Billy for legal services to the Chief of Police were, I received from Daniel j. �'Oonnell.
The isoard had not authorized any bills incurred by the
Ohief and therefore asked the Supt of Fublic +orke to get a
report on this matter.
The Board decided to hold a town meeting on Oct. 6, 1924.
