MEETING. SEPT 9 , 1224 .
A regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in
the selectmen ' s itoom, Town hall , Lexington , on iuevday , Sept . 9,
1924 at 8 P ... The following members of the Board were prevent,
namely L1esere . Burnham, Cuctance , hutchinvon and kilee . The
Ate ' t Lown Clerk wav also present.
hearing was declared open upon application of Florence A.
Gilcreact of 55 vvaltham St. for permission to erect a garage
I- on her premivee.
No person appeared to object and it was therefore voted
to grant the licence .
Letter ae received from harry Eastman of Winter St.
it regard tO putting hinter Street in good condition and macadariiz-
ipg same .
Letter wan turned over to the Supt. of Public ;Torke for
investigation.
Letter was received from Oscar F. Lowe of Crescent Hill
Avenue , ;ant Lexington, asking that the street be accepted .
�.r. Scamman war requested to look into the matter and
report his findings .
Bills for legal vervicev to the Chief of Police were,
received from Daniel J . -' Connell .
The Board had not authorized any bills incurred by the
Chief and therefore asked the Supt of Public Jorke to get a
report on this matter .
The Board decided to hold a town meeting on Oct . 6 , 1924 .
