BILLS It was moved, seconded, and voted unanimously to pay bills
submitted by Ingalls, for en address stamp and envelopes ; to the
Lexington Historical society for a commemorative plate which was ;,re-
sented as a token of avpreciation to Mr Sweeney (Veterans Day speaker)
and , although no bill was submitted, to make a contribution of $50.00
to the LBS band for participation in Veterans Day
VINTLIANS DAY Parade and ceremonies were discussed briefly although
the N tional Guard color guard. app; red in the assembly area, no com-
mittee member could recall seeing the men in the ! Inc of march or on. the
Battle Green. Particular mention was made of the excellent performance
of the LHS Banda with the suggestion that this group be given 'irsi; con
sideration as staff band in the Bicentennial parade.
JOINT TCC*LBC Meeting agenda was mentioned. with Mr. Gaughan indicating
his areas of concern and Chief Marshal 'Broderick distributing copies of
the summary of responses from marching units which he would review for
the LBC, Military Protocol which must be followed in preparing the
parade roster was mentioned
BICENTENNIAL: The TCC and. Chief Marshal again stated that the parade
roster should allow for heterogeneous grouping of the various divisions.
A preliminary parade roster will be discussed at the November 14 meeting
and a tentative parade budget prepared Since military mit participation
is not yet known, work to be done will concentrate on decisions regarding
those other units which have expressed an interest in participation with
decisions regarding firm invitations to be made.
Chmn Barnes stated that it was his hope to ask Mr, hobect Camp, to join
the TCC on November 21 to enable the TCC to clarify the projected work
list for committee members.
The committee then joined the LBC for the scheduled monthly joint meeting
