into groups and each group is assigned a storefront to attach balloons to for the
trick-or-treating event in the center. Pizza provided
- Jack told the group about the Food Pantry Drive in November. Each member gets
Trader Joe's bags which they pass out to neighbors, family, and friends to collect
nonperishable foods. Then, we all meet at C&W to sort all the food and get rid of all
damaged and expired goods. We take all the sorted food to the food pantry in police
cruisers.
- Sadie explained the Thanksgiving dinner deliveries. We take pre-made packages of
Thanksgiving dinners, and split off into groups to deliver these to different families. All
of the information about who orders and who receives these packages is confidential. It
does not take very long and is a very rewarding experience. Sadie shared how one
family gave her a thank you note for the dinner.
