October 15, 2024 Meeting Minutes
Attendance: Meg Colella, Kristen Gray, Rachael Kipps, Alfreda Millan, Zeba McGibbon, Tara Mayes,
Paige Hall, Jeremy Bowman, Marwa Hasoun, Traci Jansen, Wei Wang, Kristen Gray
The Bridge Elementary School School-based Site Council will determine its next meeting through
email communication with the SBC. It will be held in the Bridge conference room on a Tuesday
between 8:15 - 8:45 am.

Review T School Innovation Plan (provide ink)?

o Perhaps brainstorm and engage the school more broadly
• Health Curriculum (now every other week)
o Schedule - SEL & DEI in the off weeks of Health
Questions:
Q: What is the Site Council, the scope of influence, how does it relate to the PTA? Families
often donate to the PTA, is there a way those donations can.
A: SBC there are guidelines. One major component is looking the School Innovation Plans.
The SBC in the past has provided feedback for things that are happening in the district and in
the school. There is no budget, but if there is something that comes up from our meetings then
we can reach out to the PTA to get something funded.
