Dave is looking into CD interest rates locally. The CPA money for the Parker Manor units was approved, but the CBC is requiring we need to keep units affordable! Donald Walker came before Board to discuss his situation. He is paying $75 a month to store motorcycle and $268 to store possessions. There are expenses 7 at Hancock-- they must maintain fence around bui lding, keep it plowed, remove third floor, cover building and maintain support for chimneys. He was approved for rental and will be checked in six months. Bill Kennedy discussed job discriptionfor Office Manager. Karen Iverson discussed the computer work for Paul. Ryan. 2008 is almost totally computurized. She will collect checks and deposit them and pay bills while Joan is on vacation. $50,000 loan for Home funds—we were promised that if we apply and received it, the units would get on 40B list. Aaron Henry says that is not so. Gerry proposed we not take the Home loan, because it does not fufil our need. Don seconded the motion. Bob Bicknell talked about a meeting to present affordable home owership program. The consultant survey will be presented. Bill Kennedy will represent LexHAB. Karen Mullins had a meeting about developing Busa farm. Conservation is not interested in all of the property. Betty Weiss needs a report for CPA, that Martha will handle. Bill reported that the tax problem. at 5 Chestnut Lane was solved. Bill reported the gift from Att. George Foote's client Leonard F. Milgate. We also received a generous gift from Lester Savage. Pat met with Aaron Henry &Pat Whitney to discuss the possibility of LHA renting the three Parker Manor units, we would handle the rent and repairs. The LHA may not be able to do it. Carolyn Wortman is unable to serve on the Emergency Housing Committee. Mary Peterson from St. Brigid's will serve for the Lexington Clergy Assoc. The next meeting is February 18.
